Went up to London for the evening.

17/2/2026 - Rayleigh to Shenfield and return. Shenfield to Chelmsford. Chelmsford to Ipswich. Ipswich to Stowmarket. Stowmarket to Chelmsford.

Went to Stowmarket for the day to meet up with a friend.

18/2/2026 - Leigh-on-Sea to London Fenchurch Street and return. 

Went to London for the day to visit the Sky Garden.

Went to Rayleigh to visit some friends.

5/3/2026  - Rayleigh to Shenfield and return. Shenfield to Chelmsford and return.

Went to Chelmsford for the evening to see Claire Hamill in concert.

17/3/2026 - Leigh-on-Sea to London Fenchurch Street and return.

Went up to London for a hospital appointment.


28 3/2026 - Leigh-on-Sea to Barking. Barking to Barking Riverside and return. Barking to Gospel Oak. Gospel Oak to Richmond. Richmond to Clapham Junction. Clapham Junction to Shepherd's Bush. Greenford to West Ealing. West Ealing to Liverpool Street. Liverpool Street to Leigh-on-Sea.

Went for a day travelling around some of London's outer railway lines including visiting Barking Riverside, Richmond and Greenford. At Greenford we travelled on the Class  230 units which are only running on the Greenford Branch on a saturday as a trial. The train seemed to be full of railway enthusiasts all doing the same thing as me!

26/4/2026 Leigh-on-Sea to London Liverpool Street and return.

Went to an interesting talk on The Beatles in Hampstead. When I came back to Hampstead tube station there were no tubes running due a fire at Camden Town, so I managed to get a bus to Swiss Cottage and get a Jubilee line train to Baker Street and then back to Liverpool Street where I just missed my train and had to wait anpother half an hour!
